I am constanly looking at new ways of making type, but sometimes its what you can do with the most simple of materials.








These illustrations have been used in editorial design, which is something that i would like to design for. Yulia has some great illustration work, LOOK.

Company - London

Here lye's some example of work from Company - London. There playful, print/digital based, identity studio has produced some successful work. Would be a great place for work placement here as they do a great range of work that is type and layout based.






I like how they have made use of the surroundings of the shop they are designing for.



I like how this A5 format handout is extended on some pages to show off the size of the studios.



I thought identity for The Larder works well. Its just a simple design, but the colours and the way it has been applied to various printed media. It ties everything in well together.






They even use there playful nature to help out at the design museum. A workshop.

Mito

This video is not strictly type but i was drawn to the simple video transitions with the massive music influence. The music is something that can be the driving force behind a simple type idea.

Light Type: A blinding outcome

Its good to see people enjoying type without a computer, pen or paper in sight. Some really interesting shapes are created. This process seems much more exciting than the typeface i have been working on at the moment, i do reyt enjoy it though.

Seblester has some really technical printed type, here it has been developed further into 3d animation.
